Marko D. Simeunovic shares a hidden practice of Zen and will discuss what it really means to be human. In Japan, traditional art is considered a way to refine the mind, heart and spirit. The way is rarely defined or explained, instead the curious mind must rely on intuition. What is The way of Zen? This is what will be discussed on this day.

Marko D. Simeunovic is a long-time student of Shodo Harada Roshi, who is a Japanese Rinzai Zen master and an abbot of Sogenji Monastery in Okayama, Japan. Marko has been practicing Zen Buddhism for the past 15 years, spending time in the Himalayas, travelling to France and the Sogenji Monastery in Japan where he practiced Zen with his master. Today he works full-time as a doctor and runs a Zen center in Uppsala.
The lecture will be held in English.
