The possibilities are many and varied when it comes to experiencing Japanese culture. It is not only about the tea ceremony and other traditional things such as budo (martial arts), ikebana (flower arrangements), bonsai (miniature trees), origami (paper folding), calligraphy, but also popular culture such as manga (cartoons) and cosplay (dressing up as fictional characters )!

In this talk, the Japanese Embassy's culture and information department gives a brief introduction to some different ways in which Japanese culture can be enjoyed here in Sweden.

The lecture is given in English.

After the talk, the Japanese Tea Society serves whipped matcha tea together with a vegan Japanese cake.

The program is given in collaboration with the Japanese Tea Society.
